Chiropractic: More than backs and cracks
Patients are often interested to learn that in addition to treating the spine, we work on injuries and conditions affecting the entire body.
Yes, we do treat shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees and feet! (And all of the soft tissue structures in between.)
Soft tissues? What does that mean?
The bones and nerves of the spine and the extremities do not work alone. The “soft tissues”, such as the muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia and discs, play an important role in your response to injury, inflammation, pain and healing.
By addressing each component, we can determine the best course of treatment for you.
Commonly Treated Conditions:
- Low back pain and leg pain – “Sciatica”
- Neck pain and arm pain
- Shoulder tendonitis/bursitis/frozen shoulder
- Plantar fasciitis
- Disc degeneration/disc herniation
- Arthritis/stenosis/degenerative joint disease
- Sport injuries
- Whiplash-auto injuries
